Erigga whose real name is Erhiga Agarivbie is a fast rising Nigerian hip hop recording artist born on March 30, 1987.
Erigga is the first in a family of five children and originally hails from Warri, Delta state.
He attended Standard international School for his primary and secondary education.
Erigga started his music career at a very tender age while being influenced by the the likes of Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Nas and so on.
PaperBoi as fondly called, came through professionally in early 2010 with the release of his first song “Mo street Gan” which was accompanied with a music video shot in Nigeria by Akin Alabi.
He was unknown before he dropped his song “Them No Get Two Heads” which was accompanied with a music video directed by Igho Films.
Erigga has released a lot of hit singles from “Coupe Decale” featuring Shuun Bebe to “Love No Be Garri” but has been affected by the X-rated content of some of his songs.
He was first signed to the record label named New Money Entertainment owned by SnowMan – He worked and released songs under the label for four years and worked with artistes like Sean Tero. He got a new recording contract with Emirates Empire which is said to worth N10 million naira including a new Lexus SUV car and house in Lagos.
The talented rapper came through with his debut album “A Trip To The South” on July 17, 2017 and in 2018 he finally rose to fame with the smash hit single “Motivation” featuring the ‘Wetin We Gain” crooner Victor AD. The song was given a visual treatment which got over 25,000 views on YouTube.
Erigga got nominations for Best Street Hop and Lyricist on the roll at the Headies 2012 awards.
