Wale Turner, born Turner Omowaleola in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, developed a deep passion for music at an early age. Influenced by legendary acts such as Olamide, Mo’Hits Records, Ayinde Barrister, and King Sunny Ade, his sound reflects a rich blend of Nigerian musical heritage and modern hip-hop culture.
He began his journey as a freestyle rapper at just 16, gaining attention for his ability to deliver sharp, confident verses over any available beat. Rather than slowing down, Wale Turner used those early experiences as motivation, going on to release several records from 2016 onward.
A versatile and creative artist, he stands out for his unique ability to rap in French while maintaining strong roots in his native style. Over the years, he has collaborated with notable Nigerian producers including Tefa, Deetunes, Spellz, and Pheelz, who worked on his debut and follow-up singles.
Beyond his own music, Wale Turner has built strong industry relationships and contributed as a songwriter for top artists such as Tiwa Savage, Yung6ix, Ice Prince, Iceberg Slim, and Kayswitch across various projects.
