The annual festival that holds in memory of the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti (Felabration) organizers have decided to host the celebration virtually this year 2020 due to the pandemic that has goitten the world on its kneels for over nine months now.

According to the organizers press relases, the festival will be streamed across several social media platforms such as zoom,Facebook and youtube.

The 2020 edition felebration is expected to kick off with a symposium that will be themed on the predicament of Africa especially the pressing issues.

Speakers to grace the occasion include, Arikana Chihombori, the former permanent representative to the African Union mission in Washington DC, Kweku Mandela and Dele Farotimi, lawyer and author.

The opening event is thememd ‘Colomentality’, and it will be hosted by the popular Uganda media personalty Vincent Magombe.

The dress code for has a challenge which is centered on anyone who can dress more like the legendary Fela Anikulapo. the winner will walk home with a sum of N50, 000.

Not only that, some noteable artist to perform in the event are Wizkid, 2face Idibia, Niniola, Joeboy and many more.
