No Room For Indolence In My 2nd Term Akeredolu Warns Aides

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has warned those who will work with him in his second term administration that there will be zero tolerance for indolence.

The governor on Thursday warned that only those who are ready for genuine sacrifices and dedication will be given room to serve in his government.

The governor stated this during the swearing-in of Chief Olugbenga Ale as his Chief of Staff at the Cocoa conference hall of the Governor’s office in Akure, the state capital

While emphasizing that no one will be permitted to misbehave under his watch, Akeredolu maintained that he will do away with distractions in his second term in office.

He also added that those who will constitute a burden to what he described as the serious business of governance will not be permitted to serve with him.

“We will reward decency. Any established act of moral turpitude will be visited with the utmost severity in terms of sanction

“We have already achieved some level of success in this regard in our first term. We shall endeavor to build on this success in the next four years.”

Akeredolu described the reappointment of Ale as his Chief of Staff as a confirmation of dedication to duty and loyalty.
