Osun One Dead As Gangs Clash In Ikire

A yet-to-be-identified middle-aged man has been killed as a result of a clash among rival groups on Monday in Ikire town, Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State.

Sources who spoke to Our Source stated that violence broke out around the Sango area of Ikire between the two groups following a disagreement.

The source also revealed that a particular group of hoodlums had approached a shop owner, and demanded money

“After the first group had left, another set approached the woman for money but she refused.

“The woman later called members of the first group that she settled and they came around and engaged the second group in a free for. One person was shot dead. The shop belonging to the woman was also attacked,” the source disclosed.
