OVERVIEW OF: Two Coronavirus Patients Died in Lagos State
The Lagos State Government on Tuesday confirmed the death of two more COVID-19 patients, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the state to 16.
This information was made public by the state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, via his Twitter handle, @ProfAkinAbayomi said the dead patients were aged 45 and 36 respectively.
He said, “One of the deceased was a 45-year-old Nigerian; male who returned from India in January, 2020.
“The second death involved a 36-year-old Nigerian; female with severe underlying health condition. She had no history of travel or contact with any #COVID19 confirmed case.
“Total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos now stands at 16.”
