Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has assured residents in the state of full protection against bandits and perpetrators of all sorts of evils in the state.

He gave this assurance while speaking at a town hall meeting held at Odighi community of Ovia North Local Government Area on Tuesday.

The governor vowed to send packing all criminals from his domain.

He assured that bandits who disguise as Fulani herders to do evil in the state will hence be treated as criminals.

Obaseki lauded the inhabitants of the community for their peaceful disposition and organising themselves to secure the community and ensure a peaceful atmosphere for all.
